Two more persons succumbed to Covid in the last 24 hours taking the death toll of the State to 3,384. A 51-year-old from Camurlim and 53-year-old from Quepem succumbed to the virus at GMC.
Meanwhile, 24 new cases of the virus came to light from the 1595 samples tested. Goa recorded a positivity rate of 1. 5 per cent. With 19 recoveries, the active Covid count now stands at 276.
BELAGAVIAfter a gap of one year, a number of devotees from different parts of Belagavi and Kolhapur districts have begun their walking pilgrimage to Old Goa for the Feast of St Francis Xavier.
