Verna police on Friday registered an offence against two Velsao residents on charges of assaulting and threatening to kill a man and his father.Sources in Verna police said both the accused have been absconding after the incident.
"Nazario Fernandes (33) from Velsao complained that on Wednesday evening, the two accused, Savio Vincent and Bento Vincent, both from Dando-Velsao assaulted him and his father, abused them and threatened them with dire consequences. We have registered an offence against the two persons under Sections 323, 504, 506(ii) read with 34 of IPC," said the source.
Verna PSI Pravin Shimepurushkar is investigating the case under the supervision of PI Diago Gracias and guidance of Mormugao DySP Salim Shaikh.
