350 patients shifted to new GMC block: Health Min

PANAJI
Health Minister Vishwajit Rane on Saturday announced that 350 Covid patients have been shifted to the newly completed superspecialty block at Goa Medical College and Hospital.

Initially, GMC authorities had planned to utilise only 150-200 ICU beds at this new premises. However, owing to the growing burden on the old GMC building, it was decided that the new block would be utilized to its full capacity.
