The Directorate of Health Services on Monday recorded 38 Covid deaths including 13 deaths of patients aged below 50 years. DHS also detected 1,401 new cases of Covid-19.
The total Covid victim count of the state has now increased to 2,421 while the daily positivity rate continued to remain high at 35.35 per cent.
Four of the deceased patients had received their first dose of the Covid vaccine.
