Pernem recorded 44 new Covid cases on Monday, with the active cases now rising to 1,355 in the taluka
The new cases were detected in Korgao (10), Parcem (2), Tuem (6), Morjim (7), Arambol (7), Mandrem (6), Parcem (1), Agarwaddo (2), Chopdem (1) and Paliem (2).
Meanwhile, an ambulance service for Covid patients by Mandrem MLA Dayanand Sopte and Deputy Chief Minister Babu Ajgaonkar was made available from Monday.
