The state’s Health Department on Monday recorded 54 new cases of Covid-19 from among the 1,264 samples tested in the last 24 hours. The positivity rate continues to loom over 4.27 per cent.
With this, the active Covid count stood at 632 while the total confirmed cases of the infection in Goa till date touched 55,463. So far, 54,032 persons have recovered.
No Covid related deaths were recorded in Goa on Monday and the total Covid victim count remains at 799.
Meanwhile, the total active cases under Urban Health Centre (UHC) Panaji and UHC Margao remained highest in the state, at 92 and 88 respectively.
Active cases under UHC Mapusa and Primary Health Centre (PHC) Chimbel both accounted for 41 each and 40 cases are presently active under PHC Porvorim.
PHC Ponda has 38 active cases under it while UHC Vasco has 33. The active cases under CHC Canacona have dipped slightly and now stand at 29. Active cases under PHC Cortalim have reduced slightly to 25.
