With seven more persons succumbing to Covid-19, the infection has claimed the lives of 592 persons in Goa so far.
The deceased persons include a 70-year-old man from Marcel, a 70-year-old man from Dharbandora, a 65-year-old woman from Merces, a 72-year-old man from Mumbai, a 70-year-old woman from Mapusa, a 56-year-old man from Vasco and an 87-year-old man from Navelim.
With this, the total confirmed cases in the state touched 42,968 of whom 2,402 are presently active while 39,974 have already recovered. The recovery rate stands at 93.03 per cent in Goa.
