Several domestic and international passengers arriving at the Goa international Airport at Dabolim faced severe inconvenience on Wednesday morning after eight flights arriving at Dabolim Airport were diverted to different airports due to fog and bad visibility around the airport.
Among the eight diverted flights were flights arriving from Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Raipur and Muscat.
"Due to low visibility conditions in Goa on Wednesday morning, eight flights were diverted. The flights were Go First G8-0575 (Mumbai-Goa), Air India AI-685 (Mumbai-Goa), Air Asia I5-818 (Bangalore-Goa), Indigo 6E-743 (Hyderabad-Goa), Oman Air WY-277 (Muscat-Goa), Indigo 6E-211(Goa-Raipur), Indigo 6E-194 (Bangalore-Goa) and Air Asia I5-779 (Delhi-Goa),” said a senior official at Goa Airport.
“The diverted flights arrived at the Dabolim Airport later in the day,” the official added.
