The Covid-19 cases continued with its upward trend with 85 positive cases recorded in Bardez on Sunday. Half of the total positive cases in the taluka came from Candolim primary health centre.
Mapusa urban health centre reported 19 cases while Aldona PHC reported just two. Similarly, Porvorim PHC reported nine cases and Colvale PHC had seven positive cases.
Health Officer of Candolim PHC, Dr Roshan Nazareth informed that 15 persons tested positive in Candolim, eight each in Calangute and Pilerne, seven in Sangolda and two each in Saligao, Arpora and Nerul.
Mapusa UHC: Four persons tested positive in Khorlim, three each in Xelpem and Ansabhat, two each in Ekta Nagar and Carrasvaddo and one each in Shettyavaddo, Morod, Duler, Dattawadi and Gaunsavaddo.
Porvorim PHC: Six persons tested positive in Guirim, two in Penha de France and one in Salvador do Mundo.
Colvale PHC: Three persons were infected with the virus in Colvale, two in Central jail and one each in Sirsaim and Tivim.
Aldona PHC: Two persons tested positive in Aldona village.
