Ruling BJP leader Urfan Mulla has welcomed the disqualification order passed by the Salcete Block Development officer on Monday, saying the BDO has passed the order as per the relevant provisions of the Goa Panchayat Raj Act.

Terming the BDO’s judgement as a historic decision, Urfan thanked Chief Minister Pramod Sawant, Panchayat Minister Mauvin Godinho, Navelim MLA Ulhas Tuemkar, besides the panchayat Director.
