A joy ride on a bike over the signature Atal Setu bridge cost Bollywood choreographer Salman Yusuf Khan a princely traffic fine of Rs 700.

Khan paid the fine to the Calangute Traffic Cell on Friday after he responded to summons issued following a video of the ride going viral on social media platforms.

His co-rider, Remo D’Souza, another celebrity choreographer, however, has sought time to report to the police to pay the challan.

Calangute police said Salman was already out of Goa but returned from a town in Karnataka in response to the summons.

Riding two-wheelers is prohibited on the Atal Setu.
