Some 130-odd doctors attached to the Directorate of Health Services have got a bonanza and can opt for pay upgrade under the Dynamic Assured Career Progression (DACP) scheme, an order issued by Under Secretary (Health) Swathi Dalvi said.
All doctors of the DHS who have completed two years of service under ‘grade pay’ of Rs 6,600 in pay band 3 are granted the ‘financial upgradation’, Dalvi’s order said.
The doctors are required to exercise the financial upgradation option within a month.
They are also required to furnish a declaration that they will reimburse to the government or adjust against future pay earned any excess payment found to be made to them in light of discrepancies noticed in future over ‘incorrect’ pay fixation.
