CM puts off counselling session for HSSC students

PANAJI

The emergency situation arising out of flooding in Goa forced Chief Minister Pramod Sawant to put off an online live interaction with students who passed the HSSC to deliberate on career opportunities and paths available to the latter.

“POSTPONED: Due to the flood situation in Goa, the programme has been postponed and a new date will be announced soon” said a post on CMO Goa, the Twitter handle of the Goa Chief Minister’s office.

The session, “What Next after HSSCE” was to give the students a lowdown on career choices, including the various national competitive exams presented by various resource persons.

The post on CMO Goa said the programme is “postponed” and a new date for it will be announced soon.

Earlier, this week, the Directorate of Education and Directorate of Technical Education besides other government departments had conducted a similar session for SSC students guiding them on various choices they can make in technical fields at polytechnics, ITIs and other institutions.
