Cooperation by corporates will upgrade skill: Sawant

Asserting that the initiative of various companies to extend their cooperation to the government for upgradation of skill in the State in the long run will help to boost technical education in Goa, Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the Central Government under Skill India programne have implemented  three PMKY schemes and set a objective of  to skill about 40 crore people in the country. 

The Chief Minister was speaking at a function organized by The Directorate of Technical Education to commemorate World Youth Skill Day 2021 at Porvorim on Wednesday.

Chief Minister appreciated the endeavour by Subhash Shirodkar through his engineering College to promote technical education in the State. He appreciated the Department of Technical Education for arranging this programme within a short time.
