The BJP Curtorim block mandal has slammed Congress Quepem MLA Altone D’Costa for passing objectionable remarks against BJP ST leader Anthony Barbosa.
Curtorim BJP Leader Dr Sneha Bhagwat told the media that the Congress MLA had no right to comment that Anthony Barbosa would not win the Curtorim seat in the 2022 Assembly election despite the constituency having over 7,000 ST voters.
Dr Bhagwat said that Barbosa has been working with the people of Curtorim and that the Congress MLA has no right to comment on the votes polled by the ST leader in the last Assembly election.
