MARGAO
The prestigious yearly awards of Dalgado Konknni Akademi -- Dalgado Puroskar 2023 -- will be conferred at a ceremonial function on eight individuals who have excelled in literary and cultural fields, and who have helped in preserving and promoting Konkani literature in Roman script and culture of Goa
The awards will be presented on Saturday, December 16 at 3.30 pm at Ravindra Bhavan Hall, Margao. Adv Narendra K Sawaikar, Commissioner for NRI Affairs, former Member of Lok Sabha, has consented to be the chief guest for the event. Celso Fernandes, President of Dalgado Konknni Akademi will preside over the function.
