The State government's flagship health insurance scheme -- Deen Dayal Swasthya Seva Yojana (DDSSY) has now been kept open for renewal of the cards throughout the policy year.
DDSSY policy holders can now renew their cards for the current year until March 31 at a cost of Rs 200 per family of up to three members and Rs 300 for larger ones.
Any person resident in Goa for at least 5 years is eligible for the scheme which provides a Rs 2.5 lakh health insurance cover for a family of up to three members and Rs 4 lakh cover for larger than 3-member families.
