Two incidents of kidnappings of minor girls were reported at the jurisdiction of Fatorda police station.The police have claimed to have achieved a breakthrough in both cases.
Fatorda police station in-charge, PI Girendra Naik informed that a police team have managed to nab the accused in the two separate cases from Bengaluru. Both the accused are presently cooling their heels in the Fatorda police lock-up.
In the first case, a resident of Fatorda, Salman Siddique, a native of Kerala, was apprehended at Bengaluru, after a complaint was lodged against him for kidnapping a minor girl from her legal guardianship.
In the second incident, a resident of Curtorim, Dinesh, was nabbed by a Fatorda police team from Bengaluru, following a complaint that he kidnapped a minor girl from her lawful guardianship.
Both the accused persons have been remanded to one-day police custody, PI Naik added.
