Forum for Innovation Incubation Research and Entrepreneurship (FiiRE) has signed an MoU with Goa State Industries Association (GSIA) to promote development of micro small and medium enterprises in the State.
The FiiRE is a state-of-the-art technology business incubator established with the support of Dept of Science and Technology, Govt of India, within the campus of Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda.
The MOU was signed by Fr Kinley D’Cruz, Director of Don Bosco College of Engineering and FiiRE and GSIA President Vishwanath Kochkar in the presence of GSIA Secretary Sameer Keni, Pradeep D Costa, Dr Neena Panandikar and governing council members of the college.
As part of the MoU, the GSIA will identify problem statements from industry members which can be solved with the help of the vibrant Goan startup ecosystem.
The FiiRE will identify, source and manage the problem statements along with the startups who wish to tackle these challenges.
The GSIA has also ensured to provide matchmaking and introduction to mentors from various industrial verticals.
This relationship will ensure timely support and collaboration of industry with the startup ecosystem, thereby providing opportunity to more talent, to help resolve critical industry related problems, validate solutions and identify the right solution industry fit.
The engagement envisages a strong mutually beneficial relationship between micro small and medium enterprises and the innovative startups from within the ecosytem in Goa.
