Former Army chief, General Sunith Francis Rodrigues, who passed away in Goa on Friday will be interred on Monday afternoon at the Moksha crematorium in St Inez with full military honours.
The Press Information Bureau's defence wing said that the last rites of Gen. Rodrigues will take place at the Moksha Crematorium at St Inez, Panaji, on March 7 around 3.30 pm.
Rodrigues who served as the Chief of Army Staff between 1990 and 1993 had passed away on Friday afternoon at the Manipal Hospital in Dona Paula.
After his retirement, he had moved to Goa and lived at the Defence Colony in Porvorim.
He is survived by his wife Jean Rodrigues, two sons -- Captain Neal and Dr Mark -- and a daughter Dr Susan Vishwanathan.
