Gogol-Chowgule college road to have jogging amenities: Fatorda MLA

Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai on Wednesday inspected the Gogol-Chowgule college road with PWD officials, saying the people of Gogol, Borda and neighbouring areas need not come for jogging at the SAG grounds, Fatorda since the new road will have jogging amenities.
He told the media after the inspection that the road will be widened and developed with amenities at a cost of over Rs six crore. “We had agitated along with the people to widen and develop the road and had to face cases registered on us. But, today I am happy that work on the road will finally kick start,” he said.
The Fatorda MLA said the pavement of the road will offer jogging facility on a 600-meter stretch. “The jogging track at the SAG grounds, Fatorda is around 800 meters. This 600-meter stretch with have a jogging facility,” he said.
The Goa Forward chief took the platform to fire shots at the BJP government, claiming some of the Ministers are allegedly the silent partners of several event management taking place in the state.
