A large branch of a tree fell on the house of Sanjeev Naik in Kavangal-Savoi Verem due to which his house was damaged.
In another incident, a coconut tree fell on the house of Jadish Naik at Adushe Borim due to which his house got damaged and he suffered a loss of Rs40,000.
This incidents took place during the heavy rains that lashed Ponda on Saturday night. The staff of Ponda fire brigade removed the trees on Sunday morning.
