The Swift car KA23-N-8878 in which Suleman escaped in Hubli -- where ex-IRB constable Amit Naik was allegedly 'dumped' by him -- has been seized. Another accomplice Hajaratasab Bavannavar aka Hazrat Ali has been arrested.
The Crime Branch and Old Goa police, apprehended him in collaboration with the local police there.
CB SP Rahul Gupta informed that Ali (34), a resident of Sangam Colony, Old Hubli, Karnataka harboured Suleman in Hubli.
As on Saturday night, Bavannavar was being brought to Goa for further investigation.
