Kala Academy’s 7th Tiatr ‘B’ Group competition to commence today

The 7th Tiatr ‘B’ Group Competition of Kala Academy will be held everyday from March 8-15 at 7 pm at the main auditorium of Ravindra Bhavan, Margao with the participation of 7 tiatr groups. 

Tickets of Rs 50 will be charged for admission to each show and the same will be available at the ticket counter of Ravindra Bhavan, Margao 3 days in advance of each show. Some seats in Row ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ will be reserved for Kala Academy. Seats in Row ‘E’ will be reserved for senior citizens. Seats in Row ‘F’ and ‘G’ will be available for sale as Season Pass. 

Video shooting of the tiatr performances is strictly prohibited. Bags, eatables and beverages will not be allowed inside the auditorium. Kala Academy has requested the audience to occupy their seats latest by 6.55 pm for each show failing which Kala Academy will not be responsible for allotment of seats.

Kala Academy has appealed to all tiatr lovers to note the above schedule and witness the performances by attending in large number to make the competition a success.

March 11: THANK YOU written by  Aston Soares and staged by Being Noble, Calangute.

March 12: NIMNO MARG written by Vasant Bhagwant Sawant and staged by Ashwamedh Medea Productions, Mapa, Panchwadi, Ponda.

March 13: DOLLE UGDAT, written by Carmo Pacheco and staged by Pacheco’s Dramatic and Cultural Association, Curtorim.

March 14 POILO GHONT written by Michel Jude Gracias and staged by Kala Niketan, Majorda.

March 15: PRISON MINISTRY written by Fr. Milton Rodrigues and staged by Goan.Com Socio and Cultural Association, Candolim.
