The sleuths of Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) arrested a local youth with drugs in a raid conducted at his house in Ponda.
ANC officials said that Frazer Fernandes, 32-year-old was caught red handed with 10 kg Ganja, value of which is estimated at Rs 10 lakh, which was meant for sale among alleged drug consumers and his associates. "Technical surveillance and intelligence gathered by our team led us to the alleged drug peddler. He has stored the banned substance in his house from where he operated the lethal trade," an official told The Goan.
Sources said that Fernandes is unemployed and lived on the earnings made through drugs sale. The raid headed by DySP Nerlon Albuquerque was conducted on Tuesday.
