Goa Police's Cyber Crime Unit has arrested a local man for allegedly stocking up child pornographic content as the sleuths have launched Operation P (paedophile)“Hunt in the State.
Superintendent of Police Nidhin Valsan, who is heading the unit, revealed that the officers have arrested one person Gajendra Tadadiker (35) from Ponda.
"Raids were simultaneously conducted at seven different locations which include Ponda and Panaji. It was a joint operation by the Cyber Crime and the Crime Branch," he said.
The accused arrested was found in possession of child pornographic content on electronic devices.
As part of cyber patrolling, the Cyber Crime police are keeping a close watch on illegal activities by cybercriminals.
