Locals want to know how body ended up in Church property

CANACONA

Locals have not been satisfied with police claims that there was no foul play in the death of Emma Louise (45) of UK and demanded to know how the body ended up in an isolated part of the Agonda Church property.

“It would have been difficult for anyone to have reached that site. Even if the woman had to enter the Church compound, there were benches and other places to sit. No one would have willingly walked through thorny bushes to reach the corner and sit at an unusual place,” remarked a local.

Another local claimed even that if the woman was not murdered, the woman would not have died at the spot where the body is found.

“She must have died some place else and some person or persons must have brought the body and planted it inside the private property,” the resident added.

“The manner in which the body was found points out to the possibility that the body was lowered from above and made to rest against the compound wall.”

Locals felt the police should check and collect CCTV footage of restaurants in the locality to ascertain where and when the woman was last seen alive.
