Claiming that a lockdown is not the solution to curb rising Covid cases, Saligao MLA Jayesh Salgaonkar said the State government should, instead, strictly implement the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
“The State government should instruct authorities concerned to penalise all people, including tourists, moving in public places without wearing masks and should keep watch on functions and private parties,” said Salgaonkar
