The schools in Margao will remain closed on February 6 in view of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the State.
In a circular issued, Director Education Shailesh Zingade said that in view of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on Tuesday, February 6, all schools in Margao will remain closed to facilitate smooth flow of traffic.
The Prime Minister will inaugurate the second edition of India Energy Week at Betul in South Goa.
He will also inaugurate several infrastructure projects like the new campus of National Institute of Technology at Cuncolim, Indian Institute of Water Sports at Dona Paula, Navy College at Betim, Solid Waste Management Plant at Curchorem, besides laying the foundation for ropeway at Reis Magos fort and others.
He will then address a public meeting at Margao, which is likely to witness crowd of over 50,000.
