Clarifying that there are no proposals received for golf courses in Curca, Sarpanch Sadhana Gonsalves informed that there is some misunderstanding on the issue.
Gonsalves clarified that the files received pertain to the construction of residential houses in Bambolim. When questioned about how the golf courses issue cropped up, Gonsalves informed that in the file received with the panchayat, the addresses of the two applicants mention Aralias Gold Links and DLF Golf links respectively.
“However, the total plot area of the two residential houses is 375 and 416 square metres respectively,” she stated, while adding that there is no mention of setting up of golf courses whatsoever.
