One Covid-related death was recorded in the mortality bulletin of the Health Department on Friday.
The deceased person is a 70-year-old man from St Cruz who passed away at Goa Medical College and Hospital, Bambolim. With this, the total Covid victim count in Goa has risen to 753.
Meanwhile, 80 new cases of the infection were detected from among the 1,705 samples tested in the last 24 hours. The total confirmed Covid cases in the State now stand at 52,262 of which 866 are presently active while 50,643 persons have recovered.
