MARGAO
The parents of 32-year-old Roswen Menezes sought assistance from South Goa District Chief, SP Sunita Sawant on Friday, appealing to find their son who has been missing for the past six months.
Accompanied by social activist Adv Pratima Coutinho, the parents emphasised that Roswen, employed at a Margao hospital canteen, disappeared from his workplace, with no trace despite filing a missing report at Margao police station.
Pratima Coutinho informed the media that Roswen’s parents, Agnela and Rosario Menezes, anxiously await his return, noting his mobile phone remains switched off and his whereabouts unknown.
When contacted, SP Sawant confirmed the phone’s status and stated inquiries revealed Roswen hadn’t accessed his account despite having funds. She assured that his details have been circulated across all police stations.
