Patients starve for timely meals

Complaints have begun to surface from among the Covid-19 patients admitted at South Goa District Hospital and ESI Covid Hospital in Margao about the inadequacy and long delays in mealtimes. The family of one patient admitted at ESI Covid Hospital informed that the size of the packed meal served to the patient is insufficient and this has left her feeling hungry and at times shivering and trembling due to the heavy medication dose administered on an almost empty stomach.
