Police conduct drive at Tisk

SANGUEM

Curchorem Police on Friday conducted a special drive at Tisk-Sanvordem, following a rise in vehicle accidents involving minors and others without valid documents.
The drive was undertaken at the initiative of Quepem DySP Nilesh Rane under the supervision of Police Inspector Curchorem Vaibhav Naik.
Police sources said the drive was basically targeted against minors driving two-wheelers and other vehicles without a license. On Thursday, Curchorem police reported about 15 such incidents at Sanvordem.
The police were also seen tracking vehicles being driven without proper documents.
The drive will be continued for the next few days given the festive season since many people particularly youngsters are found to drive vehicles in a rash and negligent manner putting other lives in danger.
