It was a week when former GPCC chief Girishbab Chodankar took to the media to slam the saffron brigade over the sound pollution norms. Girishbab seemed to have not forgotten how the saffron brigade had withdrawn the holidays on Good Friday when the BJP had first come to power in the State around two decades ago. At that time, Girishbab was the Goa youth Congress chief and together with then GPCC Chief Luizinhbab Faleiro, had taken the saffron brigade head-on. Did Girishbab take to the media on the sound ban because nothing much was heard from the party leadership on the issue?
