Roads have not been asphalted properly: Lobo

Ports Minister Michael Lobo has admitted that roads have not been constructed properly in the State, adding that this must be accepted by the ministers.

"Quality of work should be maintained while constructing roads. In many places, this has not taken place and roads have not been constructed well. This truth must be accepted by the ministers.”

“We actually check the asphalting work by visiting the place where the hot mixing work is going on. If the work is not monitored, the road will be washed away in the rain. In that case, the roads will have to be hotmixed every year," Lobo said.
