Shah to launch 'Mhaje Ghar' scheme, inaugurate other projects on Oct 4

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said the Union Home Minister Amit Shah will launch the ‘Mhaje Ghar’ housing scheme and also lay the foundation stone for multiple other projects on October 4. 

The event for the launch of 'Mhaje Ghar' scheme will be held at the Bambolim stadium.

He said, Shah will also lay the foundation stone for half-a-dozen other projects which will be built by NBCC, the Central government company with which the Goa government has entered into a long-term agreement.

The redevelopment of the iconic Junta House building in the capital and the 'Prashasan Stambh' at Chimbel which is billed to be the tallest building in the State are two of the projects that Shat will lay the foundation stone for.

Additionally, Shah will also virtually inaugurate the 'Smart City' stadium at Campal and the new building of the Goa Dental College.

PANAJIGoa experienced a normal rainfall this year with the State recording rainfall at 104 per cent of the long-period average (LPA) for the June-September season.
