With the South Western Railway undertaking upgradation works of commissioning of track doubling between Castle Rock - Vasco Da Gama section, several trains running on the track have been either cancelled totally or partially.KRC Deputy General Manager, Baban Ghatge stated that as many as eight trains running on the Vasco-Castle Rock section, including Vasco-Velankani Express and Velankani-Vasco Express have been cancelled.
The trains fully cancelled by the authorities include Train no. 07379 Kulem-Vasco Da Gama DEMU journey commences from 15/12/2022 to 23/12/2022. Train no. 07380 Vasco Da Gama-Kulem DEMU journey commences from 15/12/2022 to 24/12/2022.
Train no. 07342 Vasco Da Gama-Kulem Passenger journey commences from 15/12/2022 to 23/12/2022. Train no. 07344 Kulem-Vasco Da Gama Passenger journey commences from 15/12/2022 to 24/12/2022. Train no. 07341 Kulem-Vasco Da Gama Passenger journey commences from 15/12/2022 to 24/12/2022, Train no. 07343 Vasco Da Gama-Kulem Passenger journey commences from 15/12/2022 to 23/12/2022. Train no. 17315 Vasco Da Gama-Velankanni Express journey commences on 12/12/2022 & 19/12/2022 and Train no. 17316 Velankanni-Vasco Da Gama Express journey commences on 13/12/2022 & 20/12/2022 is Fully Cancelled.
