A man from Thane-Maharashtra but residing at Korkankarwada-Arambol has been arrested on charges of possessing drugs worth about Rs 51,000 which he had concealed in his rented premises.
A police team had conducted a raid at Korkankarwada-Arambol on Tuesday and caught Rahul Kshirsagar (42) red-handed in illegal possession of narcotic drugs suspected to be Ganja weighing 511 grams worth about Rs 51,000 which he had concealed in his rented premises.
The Accused has been placed under arrest and further investigation is in progress by Pernem LPSI Sumedha Naik under supervision of Pernem PI Dattaram Raut and Pernem SDPO Rajesh Kumar and overall supervision of SP North Porvorim Nidhin Valsan.
