Teja Kandolkar won the by-election from Ward 5 of Sirsaim panchayat on Sunday, while Julius D'Souza was earlier elected unopposed in the by-election to Ward 5 of Arpora-Nagoa panchayat.
The results were declared by the election officers on Monday. At Sirsaim, the by-election to Ward 5 in Sirsaim, which was reserved for OBC women, was conducted on Sunday.
Teja Kandolkar secured 123 votes, followed by Rupam Kudnekar (77) and Grisma Kambli (63).
The seat had fallen vacant after Mesha Kudnekar had resigned as panch after she got a government job.
In Arpora-Nagoa, Julius D'Souza was elected unopposed in Ward 5, after the seat had fallen vacant following the demise of his father Augustin (Tino) D'Souza
