Verna police busted a gang involved in the theft oftwo-wheeler vehicles in the State and arrested three persons while recoveringfour two-wheelers in the connection.
According to a source, Verna police arrested threepersons, Roy Clinton Shenke (32) of Gogol-Margao, Francisco Vaz (30) ofDavorlim-Margao and Abith Tawade (41) of Aquem-Margao under Section 379 readwith Section 34 of IPC.
“Verna police also recovered four stolen motorcycles, twoRoyal Enfield Bullet motorcycles, a Bajaj Avenger bike and an N S Pulsor bike,”the source added.
The Verna police team headed by PI Tulshidas Naik,comprised head constables Babaji Matkar and Girish Naik, police constablesNilesh Kaskar, Ajit Shirodkar, Satish Lakade and police driver Mujaved Khan.
Verna police is investigating the case under thesupervision of PI Naik and guidance of Mormugao DySP Raju Raut Desai.
