Voters pledge initiated by DM South

Ties up with leading restaurants to achieve 100% voting

The District Election Officer, South Goa District, as part of SVEEP activity for the forthcoming Goa Elections has come up with a Voter’s Pledge and offers from partnering restaurants to achieve 100% voting. 

A portal https://csssg.goa.gov.in/pledge/ is created where the facility is provided to the voter to take the pledge in Konkani, Marathi and English. 

With a single click, the voter can register their pledge on the portal. Voters can also see the discounts offered by 73 restaurants across South Goa and avail them by visiting these restaurants on February 14. 

To avail the offer, voters will only have to show their inked index finger to confirm that they have cast their ballot. For wide publicity, a poster with the QR code of the web portal is also shared with restaurants to display the same. 

As of February 9, the portal has registered 4264 visits and pledges.  

All voters of South Goa are urged to scan the QR code or go to the web portal to register their pledge and vote in the upcoming elections. The link of the portal is also available on the website of South Goa Collectorate- southgoa.nic.in

The list of 73 restaurants is available on the website/link https://csssg.goa.gov.in/pledge/            and includes outlets such as Cremeux bakeries pvt ltd, Cafe Chai Coffee, Navtara Veg Restaurant, Krishna Veg Multi Cuisine Restaurant, Sharda Restaurant, Wow Momo Foods Pvt Ltd, Pastry Palace, Wow Momo Foods Pvt Ltd, The Rasoda, The Fisherman`s Warf, The Red Ginger, Colva, Dessi Cuppa, Harman Chahawala, Big Mishra Peda, Dominos Pizza, Kentukee restaurant, Baked Fusion etc.

These outlets shall provide discounts as provided on the portal on the voting day. This is a SVEEP Initiative for the voter, especially young voters to participate enthusiastically in the upcoming elections
