Wild boar spotted near Aivao dump

PANAJI

A huge wild boar (rann dukor) was sighted by a resident of Dona Paula foraging for food in the dry garbage dump near the containers recently erected by CCP at the water sports complex near Aivao.

The resident Stephen Dias wonders how the wild boar found its way into Goa's capital city of Panaji supposed to be a Smart City.  He says it is unacceptable that garbage had collected there and that the garbage dump has not been cleared in this smart city which has now begun to attract wild animals.

Dias urges the CCP to clear the garbage at the earliest keeping in mind that assembly elections are also around the corner.
