PERNEM
A 47-year-old woman died after a fall at Tulaskarwadi in Nagzar-Pernem on Saturday morning.
The woman, identified as Rupa Tulsakar, had reportedly gone to a plantation to collect fallen coconuts when she lost her balance and fell into a pit. She later died of injuries.
Mopa police later conducted the panchnama and sent the body for an autopsy to the GMC hospital at Bambolim for an autopsy. The final rites will take place on Sunday morning.
