A tragic incident occurred at Sanvordem Railway Station, where 20-year-old Rameshwar Yadav was fatally struck by a moving train. He was on his way to work at Goa Sponge in Sanvordem when the accident took place.
According to the Curchorem Police, an ambulance (108) rushed the victim to Curchorem Health Centre, but he was declared dead on arrival. His body has been moved to SGDH, Margao, for preservation and further legal procedures.
The Vasco Railway Police have registered an Unnatural Death case under section 194 of BNSS, and an investigation is underway, led by Police Inspector Amarnath Passi.
The police are continuing their inquiries to determine the exact cause of the incident.
