A youth from Muslimwada-Quepem died in a road mishap at at Shivnagar-Tilamol in Quepem early Thursday morning.Sources said the incident took place as Wasim Khan (23) was on his way to Curchorem for work on his two-wheeler.
At around 6.30 am, a local who was jogging noticed Khan lying on the road and immediately notified the police.
A police team along with a 108 ambulance arrived at the site of the accident and shifted the victim to the hospital, who was declared brought dead.
The body was later shifted to the District Hospital Margao and handed over to family members after a post mortem.
