PANAJI: The “Sumadhu” app developed by Patanjali Institute has clinched the top prize for its AI-based technology aimed at testing the purity and quality of honey. Recognized for its innovation in ensuring transparency from hive to packaging, the app was awarded the first prize at the National Seminar on Scientific Honeykeeping organised by Acharya Balkrishna.
Held in Hyderabad and attended by numerous institutions and scientists nationwide, the seminar discussed various measures for ensuring the authenticity of honey.
Patanjali’s AI solution stood out for its effectiveness, with many expressing interest in implementing it nationwide. The app, which provides complete traceability and transparency in honey production, marks a significant advancement in ensuring the quality and purity of agricultural products.
