A total of 19,573 students will appear for the secondary school certificate (SSC) examination starting April 1 as the Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) released a schedule including seating arrangement on its official website.
Of these students are 9,757 boys and 9,816 girls while another 258 are under the ‘repeater/improvement’ category and 363 are private/ITI students.
The examination that will conclude on April 24 will be held across 31 examination centres beginning at 9:30 am.
“Candidates are advised to be present at the centres 45 minutes prior to the commencement of the exam,” reads a message from the GBSHSE.
Last year, a total of 20,476 students appeared for the exam held in March 2023.
