Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar will tour the state forthe second fortnight of this month spending nights at the homes of partyworkers, exactly a year after visitingalmost entire state in the run up for the state legislative assembly polls ofMarch 2012.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has planned a fortnight longJana Sampark Abhiyan in Goa as a fulfillment of its promise given to the votersduring last state legislative assembly election beginning from January 15.
Except Salcette taluka, which is a Catholic dominated area,the BJP has charted out its travel plan for the entire state. Parrikar hadspearheaded Jana Sampark Yatra between January15-30 last year, which hadgalvanized the voters’ base for the party, ultimately resulting in its victory.
During the yatra, achievements of the state governmentduring last nine months would be highlighted. The Chief Minister will also beavailable for people to listen to their grievances and suggestions.
