Cong legislator accused of developing property in dead woman's name

Congress legislator Pandurang Madkaikar of Kumbharjua constituency has been accused of illegally developing real estate property in the name of a dead woman in Old Goa.

Social activist Sudip Tamhankar has filed a criminalcomplaint against Madkaikar in the crime branch of Goa Police. Tamankar hasdemanded that an FIR should be filed within 24 hours, “I demand chief minister’s intervention in this case as an MLAis involved in the forgery and as the CM has a zero tolerance policy againstcorruption” Tamhankar said.
